18 EVENT QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
If you have never visited our festival and perhaps have a few things you are unsure of then take a read below as you may find the answer to your question. If you can’t then do send us an email and we will help.
WHAT TIME DOES IT START?
Gates open at 12pm and close at 2am
HELP ME! I LOST MY TICKET!!!
Don’t panic! We can quickly send you another one. Please contact the organisers via the online ticket site or email us on info@musicbarnuk.com.
WHERE IS THE FESTIVAL HELD?
The site is best reached via the road between Cranford and Kettering. It will be clearly signposted on the day. See the Contact page for more details.
CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN?
The event is an 18+ only event. We hope parents can understand our decision and better yet embrace the opportunity to have a night or two off from parental duties and fully immerse themselves in the great party atmosphere of our festival.
CAN I CAMP AT THE EVENT?
Yes. There is a designated camping area. Please bring your own Caravan or Tent or Campervan to the event. Camping passes are available online in our Ticket section. Please purchase one pass per tent or live in vehicle.
The Campsite offer toilet facilities and overnight security.
Hot coffee and breakfast can be purchased on the Sunday morning and are provided by the coffee bus.
CAN I LIGHT A FIRE WHILE I AM CAMPING?
CAN I BRING ALCOHOL TO THE EVENT?
CAN I BRING A PICNIC / FOOD INTO THE FESTIVAL?
ARE THERE TICKETS AVAILABLE ON THE DOOR?
IS THE EVENT HELD FOR CHARITY?
IS THERE FREE PARKING?
We have plenty of off road parking and cars can be left overnight. Please bear in mind though that all cars are left at the drivers own discretion. The Music Barn cannot be held responsible for any damage or theft to that vehicle.
IS THERE PUBLIC TRANSPORT CLOSE BY?
The event is held in rural East Northants. There is a day time bus service which runs between Kettering and Cranford, however, there is no night bus. The site can be reached by taxi. Please contact our chosen taxi firms KLM and Premier Taxis. There will also be a rolling taxi service at the end to night with a steady stream of taxis arriving at the Entrance gate to pick up guests.
CAN I BRING MY DOG?
In our experience loud music, crowds of people and animals dont really mix. Please leave the pooches at home.
DO I NEED WELLIES?
DO I NEED TO BRING CASH OR WILL CARDS BE ACCEPTED?
CAN I LEAVE AND RE ENTER THE FESTIVAL SITE?
Upon entry to the site you will be given a wrist band which will allow you re-entry to the site. Please look after this wristband as you wont be served drinks or food if you dont have one!
WHAT AM I ALLOWED TO BRING INTO THE FESTIVAL ARENA?
Cigarettes and ecigarettes – smoking and vaping is only permitted in outside areas
Blankets or folding chairs.
Hand bags and back packs; however, bags will be inspected upon entry.
Wet weather clothing; however, please note that there is no coat check

WHAT ITEMS ARE NOT ALLOWED?
The following items should be left at home:
Drugs – including legal highs and Nitrous Oxide Balloons. Please read our drugs policy in our terms and conditions.
Alcohol – please don’t bring in alcohol
Fire making kits or BBQs (camping stoves are allowed in the campsite)
Airhorns, fireworks or flares
Knives, blades or other dangerous weapons
