The recent pandemic and the enforced closure of the events and festival industry did not blunt our enthusiasm and in 2022 we relaunched our festival moving to a new location from our previous Music Barn events.
The Music Barn Festival was set up with the intention of raising money for locally based charities. All of our profits from the House Bar are donated to charity so please make sure you give generously!
Stay tuned for on our socials for details on our dedicated charity this year.
The festival features a wide variety of music and activities, featuring some established acts rubbing shoulders with unsigned bands, from a broad spectrum of musical genres.
At the event you could hear a great local indie band on the up or catch a well loved rock act, get down with some old skool hip hop or get sweaty in the Slade stage with some upfront house music.
You can be as busy or as chilled as you want to be.
PARKING AND TRANSPORT
There is a large area of parking onsite. Parking is free at the event. Please act responsibly and ensure you have a designated driver or have pre-booked a taxi.
Transport. The Music Barn has strong transport links being located next to the A14 allowing easy access to the M1 to the West and the A1 to the East. There is a regular day time bus service which runs between Kettering and Cranford, however, there is no night bus. The site can be reached by taxi. Please contact our chosen taxi firms KLM and Premier Taxis prior to the event to ensure pickup.
The nearby market town of Kettering has several large hotels for overnight stays.
BARS AND STALLS
There are “house” bars at the festival serving cocktails, spirits, cold beer, cider and real ales at very reasonable prices. The bar will accept cash and card payments. The money raised behind the bar is donated to our chosen charities so there is no need to bring your own. You are allowed to bring alcohol into the campsites, but only alcohol purchased at the bars can be drunk at the stages.
The food stalls are all selected for quality and again make a contribution to the festival so please use them! You will find a wide variety of food stalls at the event and include vegan/vegetarian options as well as taking into consideration individuals allergy concerns. We also have a range of non-food traders including sparkle and glitter artists, axe throwing, clothing and accessories.
Stay tuned to our socials for more details on bar offering and traders!
KEEP OUR COUNTRYSIDE CLEAN
In order to keep our waste from the event to a minimum we have a reusable cup scheme in place. Cups can be bought from the Main Bar tent and then reused throughout the event. The cups are not refundable but you can use them at all Music Barn future events or at home.
Please remember the Music Barn festival is held on privately owned farming land. Please respect the owners and organisers of the event and dispose of any litter in the rubbish bins provided.
This is a glass free site. Please do not bring any glass bottles or drinking vessels onto site.
