May 12, 2026Music Barn Festival has hailed its 2026 edition as its most successful to date, after welcoming record crowds to the Northamptonshire countryside on Saturday 6th June.
Despite facing some of the wettest conditions in the festival’s history, thousands of festival-goers headed to Cranford for what organisers are calling their “biggest and best Music Barn yet”.
The independently-run festival recorded its highest ticket sales ever and its largest attendance to date, even accounting for some unavoidable drop-off caused by the weather. Festival organisers say the response from artists, suppliers, crew and festival-goers has been overwhelmingly positive, with many describing it as the best Music Barn yet.

The 2026 edition marked a significant step forward for the festival, introducing a series of new farm-themed stage concepts that transformed the site into a more immersive experience than ever before. From the Silo stage and Barn tent through to the hidden Stable venue and revamped Farmhouse arena, every corner of the festival was packed with music lovers throughout the day.
Headlined by house music legends Todd Terry and Seb Fontaine as well as Drum & Bass heavyweight High Contrast, the lineup brought together international stars, nationally recognised artists and grassroots talent from across the region and beyond. Across five stages, festival-goers enjoyed everything from Drum & Bass and house music to live bands, hip hop, garage, ska and more.

Mark Robinson, Founder and Owner of Music Barn, said:
“Honestly, I’m incredibly proud. Proud of the team, proud of our volunteers, proud of our partners and proud of everyone who came out and supported us. The weather threw absolutely everything at us, but the atmosphere throughout the day was unbelievable.”
“To see every stage busy, every area buzzing and thousands of people still dancing in the rain was really special. We’ve had so many lovely comments from artists, suppliers, crew and festival-goers about what a fantastic crowd it was and what a special event it felt like. That’s what Music Barn is all about.”
“As an independent festival, every year is a learning experience. We never claim to get everything perfect, and we never stop listening. Every comment, every message and every piece of feedback is taken seriously. Our goal is always the same – to come back bigger, better and stronger each year. This year was no different.”
The festival’s collaborative approach also continued to shine, with stages hosted by Selecta, Dance Till Dawn, Fleckies and House Proud, helping create distinct spaces and experiences across the site.

Ryan Clements, Music Barn Partner and owner of Selecta, said:
“Bringing artists of this calibre to Northamptonshire is something we’re incredibly proud of. Having names like Todd Terry and High Contrast performing here, alongside so many brilliant emerging artists, shows just how far Music Barn has come.”
“The feedback from the artists was amazing. So many of them commented on the atmosphere, the crowd and how much they enjoyed being part of it. Even with the rain, people brought so much energy. Every stage felt alive all day long.”
“It’s easy to look at the weather and think it might dampen the experience, but if anything it seemed to bring everyone together. There was a real sense of community across the whole site.”
With 2026 now firmly in the history books, the team has already turned its attention to next year.
Music Barn Festival will return on Saturday 5th June 2027, with a limited allocation of Loyalty Tickets set to be released for the festival’s most dedicated supporters.
